What can be returned

Every copy is listed exactly as it is: graded, photographed and checked piece by piece against what its edition originally came with. If the copy you receive is materially different from its listing, you can return it within 30 days of delivery. That is an objective test:

• a piece the listing says is included is missing;
• it is a different edition or format than described;
• a disc does not play;
• it has damage the listing did not mention.

What can't be returned

We don't take returns for a change of mind, or for damage after delivery. A grade is our honest judgement and two careful people can see the same copy a step apart, so a difference of opinion about a grade is not, on its own, a reason to return.

How to return

Email support@mediaencyclopedia.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, what is wrong, and a photo if you can. We'll reply within 2 business days. Depending on what's wrong, we'll refund you without needing the copy back, send a replacement copy if we have one, or email a prepaid return label.

Refunds

A return we accept is refunded in full, with the sales tax charged on it and the cost of standard shipping, to your original payment method within 5 business days of the copy reaching us (or of our reply, when we don't need it back). If you chose a faster shipping service, we refund what standard shipping would have cost, not the difference. Return shipping is free: we pay for the label.
